The house was built to create the cleanest internal environment practicable with available building materials. Samples of material were put into airtight containers for days to allow for off-gassing, and then the contents examined for volatiles. The chemical and health aspects of the project were managed by Dr. Virginia Salares, while the structural and mechanical aspects were managed by Peter Russell P.Eng. The house builder was based in Princeville QC, and mechanical detailing was done by ADW of Toronto.

Mr. Russell is now CEO of RESTCo.

RESTCo has an approach, and has developed a suite of techniques, tools, technologies, and network of affiliated organizations, which can do better.
